Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us. We had a group of 16 people and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the beach and of course our men enjoyed fishing while we women enjoyed playing cards, reading and doing puzzles. Only comment is the time went by too fast!

We just spent a wonderful three day wedding weekend at The Whaley House. We were married on Saturday in a private family ceremony on the east end of the island. The house is very large, extremely well appointed and easily accomodated our family that traveled here for our wedding. The master suite was a honeymooner’s paradise with a huge, beautiful bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean. The kitchen was perfect for all of the food prep that was needed for our family reception and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kichen was. We had 22 family members stay in the house and 52 guests for the actual reception on Saturday. There are great decks for guests to mingle. We served fresh oysters out on the deck. The guests were asked to dress in “beach casual” and bring their swimsuits. After the cake cutting, most of the guests enjoyed playing on the beach. We loved the house and plan to have family reunions there for years.

Was the perfect house and beach for all of our family and friends to be together for a week this summer! Loved seeing all of the crazy ocean creatures & getting to have sea turtle nests all around us. Love the privacy of the beach, and all of the space the beautiful Whaley home has! Thank you!

What a fabulous week. Enjoyed the amenities of this great home. Stayed in many vacation rentals and this was by far the best for our large family. Hope to come back. Thank you for being so gracious and sharing your family with ours. Played survivor games on the beach, card games in the home and loved the pool, beach and surf. Six of my children and lots of theirs enjoyed our week here so much that we initiated a reservation for June 2012. We have tried Isle of Palms, Hilton Head, the North Carolina beaches and others. St. Georges and the Whaley House provide the perfect setting for family relaxation and fun.

What a place. Bring your Jimmy Buffett C.D.s and listen to the music and the waves on one of the huge decks this home has. The Whaley House is a little piece of Heaven on earth If the beach were any closer your feet would get wet when you got out of bed in the morning. Don’t miss this one. Our whole family of passive males and hard to please females loved every minute of the Whaley House and will visit again, hopefully in the near future.

We were there the first part of June with the Grossman gang of 16 . We had a lot of room to move around and to have quiet time by yourself. Great porch to sit on and enjoy the ocean and beach. Never had to fight for a place on the beach. Owners were great to work with. All I can really say is IT’S A GREAT HOUSE TO RENT FOR BIG FAMILYS. THANK YOU FOR LETTING US RENT YOUR HOME

I’ve never written a review on any vacation before, but so much enjoyed our time at the Whaley House that we wanted to extend our gratitude to the owners/hosts! We played all week with our family and 3 others, and the house offered everything we needed. Of course, we brought along some of our own essentials — sand toys, beach volleyball set, horseshoes, basketball goal, Xbox, and even some Luau party supplies, and we’d recommend other families do the same, but the house is so spacious it accommodated all of us and our toys quite nicely! Great place to get away with a fantastic beach!

We had a great time! There were 11 kids- 2 mos to 14 years old. And there were 10 adults. The house was perfect for all of us. I think our favorite part was the deck and the kids especially loved the hammocks. Thank you for sharing your home. We had a fun family reunion and would definitely rent this house again.
